USPS “Delivered to agent”: what it means
“Delivered to agent” means USPS handed the package to someone authorized to receive it for you, not to you or your door.
Who the agent is
Usually a building's front desk, mailroom, leasing office, a neighbor who signed, or a pickup point like a parcel locker or local store. For some international and Amazon orders, the “agent” is the delivery company USPS passed it to.
Where to look
- Your building's office or package room, and any package lockers.
- Neighbors, if a signature was taken.
- Your email or texts from your building or locker service.
If you still can't find it
Wait until the end of the next day, since some buildings log packages late. Then contact the seller and USPS. More on delivered packages that aren't there.
