Why your tracking isn't updating
Gaps in tracking are common, and usually don't mean anything is wrong.
“Label created” but nothing else
The seller has printed a label, but the carrier hasn't scanned the package yet. It can take a day or two to be picked up. If nothing changes after a few business days, ask the seller whether it has actually shipped.
No updates for several days on an international parcel
Between leaving the origin country and arriving in the destination country, packages travel in bulk — on flights, by sea or by truck — and there are often no scans along the way. Updates usually resume once it arrives and goes through customs.
“No updates yet” right after shipping
New tracking numbers can take up to a day to appear in carrier systems. Try again later.
When to take action
- If the delivery estimate has passed by more than a week, contact the seller — they're usually the one who can open a claim with the carrier.
- If tracking says “delivered” but you don't have it, check around your door, with neighbours and in your mailbox, then contact the carrier and the seller.
