Shipping somewhere farther?
- Alaska, Hawaii and US territories: USPS Ground Advantage closes a day earlier, on December 16. Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express keep December 18 and 19.
- Military addresses (APO, FPO, DPO): Ground Advantage closed early, on November 4. Priority Mail has later dates that depend on the address; check usps.com.
- Other countries with USPS: Priority Mail International and First-Class Package International by December 9, Priority Mail Express International by December 16.
Where these dates come from
USPS and FedEx published their 2026 dates on usps.com and fedex.com. UPS gives Ground dates by route on ups.com, so the Ground date here is counted from the usual transit days, and the UPS air dates follow its usual pattern. Carriers can change dates, so check their sites before a gift that can't be late.
